How-To: Add a Borders onto Images with Photo Lab

A quick guide to adding a borders to multiple images.

Step 1: Add images into the Image List.

There are several ways you can add images into the Image List:

  • By clicking on the "Add Images" button
  • By right-clicking on the Image List panel
  • Or by dragging your images onto the window.

Step 2: Adding Effects

The next step is to add Effects to the image.  You can add Effects by either clicking on the "Add Effect" button or by right-clicking on the Effects List panel.  Either method will prompt you to select a desire Effect to setup.  For this example, you will choose the Border Effect.


Step 3: Configuring Border Effect Settings

The Border Effect allows you to specify the border color and size of your border. As well, you can specify if you want the border to be on the outside or inside of your image, along with the opacity range. The images below shows the outer border, and inner border applied on the image, respectively.




Step 4: Previewing the Border Effect

After exiting the Effects Wizard, you can see the Effect applied on the original image.  We can add additional images, and the same Effect will be applied.


Step 5: Saving Images!

You can save the images by clicking on the "Save Images" button.  The Save Images dialog allows you to save the images to different Image Formats along with additional configurations.  After clicking the "Save" button, the Output Folder will be pop up with the newly created images.
